| Overland tour into Tibet itself is far more than interesting. Crossing high desert and driving through over three 5000+meter passes and at the same time visiting Millarepa's cave. Clear view of Mt. Everest is visible from a distance. A 4 nights 5 days staying at the guest houses en-route, another three nights in the mystical Tibetan capital of Lhasa takes you to the palaces of the Dalai Lama, and the finest monasteries and temples. A breathtaking mountain fiesta flight over the eastern Himalayan range will take you past, Mt. Everest (8848 m), Mt. Makalu (8478 m), Mt. Kanchejunga (8585 m) and a host of other mighty Himalayan peaks finally reaching Kathmandu.

Day by Day Itinerary |
Day 01 Arrive Gongar Airport.Transfer to Tsedang Hotel.
Day 02 Explore Yarlung Valley,Yumbolakhang,the first castle in Tibet.
Day 03 Drive Tsedang to Lhasa enroute visit Samye Monastery.
Day 04 AM: Guided tour of Potala Winter Palace of Dalai Lama.
PM: Guided tour of Drepung Monastery and Sera Monastery.
Day 05 AM: Guided tour of Jokhang Temple and Barkhor Market.
PM: Guided tour of Norbulinka, Summer Palace and Ramoche Temple.
Day 06 Drive to Gyantse via Yamdrok Lake, Visit Kumbom stupa and Palcho Monastery. Over Night at Gyantse.
Day 07 Drive to Shegatse,enroute visit Shalu Monastery Shegatse Hotel.
PM: Visit Tashilumbo Moanstery and Free Market.
Day 08 Drive to Xigar via Sakya Monastery.Over Night at Xigar.
Day 09 Drive to Zangmu enroute visit Milarepa Cave.Over Night at Zangmu.
Day 10 Walk across the friendship & transfer to Kathmandu.
