This is considered as the highly praised trekking route to Everest region.This is long trek with many feature and highly recommendable to all the trekkers who are keen to walk quite long with gaining height slowly. With ample time and opportunity to visit the Buddhist monasteries of Pangboche, one of the oldest in the area, and at Tyangboche, one of the newest as it was re-built in after being burnt to the ground. It was in 1952 when two renowed figures Sir Edmund Hillary and Mr.Tenzing Sherpa had taken the same route to Mt. Everest.
After a seven hours scenic drive to Jiri, we follow spectacular route via Solukhumbu area through the heart of fine Sherpa villages, each village having something new to offer.The trail passes through numerous settlements of different ethnic groups including Tamang, Jirel, Rai, Brahmin and Chhetri and, of course, the Sherpas with the opportunity to explore the lifestyle of the Himalayan people, their religion, customs and traditions.Dominant by Mount Everst the highest peak in the world, the park shelters several rare species , such as the snow leopard and thelesser panda. There are many options for the additional exploration and high altitude walking, including the rossing Cho La (5420m) , hike to Gokyo Ri. Day 01 Drive from Kathmandu to Jiri (1955m)
Day 02 Trek from Jiri to Bandar (2190m)
Day 03 Trek from Bhandar to Sete (2575m)
Day 04 Trek from Sete village over Lamjura pass (3530m) to Junbesi (2680m)
Day 05 Trek from Junbesi to Nuntala (2330m)
Day 06 Trek from Nuntala to Khari Khola (2040m)
Day 07 Trek from Khari Khola to Puyan (2690m)
Day 08 Trek from Puyan to Phakding (2610m)
Day 09 Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3440m)
Day 10 Rest and Acclimatization day in Namche Bazaar. Visit Sagarmatha National park Museum, hike to view point place of Mt. Everest, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Ama Dublam, Mt. Thamserku, Kongde Peak, Thame Peak, Tashi Lapcha peak etc, visit Tibetan traditional market the day.
Day 11 Trek from Namche Bazaar to Dole (4160m)
Day 12 Trek from Dole to Machchhermo (4470m)
Day 13 Trek from Machchhermo to Gokyo and explore 5th lake valley from Gokyo and back to the hotel. (4870m) overnight stay.
Day 14 hike up Gokyo ri peak 5484m. early in the morning sun rise panorama close view of Mt Everest, Cho Oyo, Ghyachung Ghang, Lhotse, Makalu, and many more high mountains, back to the hotel, take breakfast and trek to Thagnag Kharka (5025 m.)
Day 15 Cross Cho-La pass (5330m) and descend to Dzong-la (4830m)
Day 16 Trek from Dzong-la to Lobuche (4910m)
Day 17 Trek from Lobuche to Gorak Shep (5140m)
Day 18 Rest and Excursion around Kalapatthar (5545m), view Everest and return back to Gorak Shep.
Day 19 Trek from Gorak Shep to Dingboche (4410m)
Day 20 Trek from Dingboche to Tyangboche monastery (3900m)
Day 21 Trek from Tyangboche to Namche Bazaar (3440m)
Day 22 Trek from Namche Bazaar to Phakding (2610m)
Day 23 Trek from Phakding to Lukla (2840m)
Day 24 Fly back from Lukla to Kathmandu 1300m.
